Details emerge on collab between Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood and MF DOOM ›
Further details of Radiohead’s collaboration with DOOM have emerged.
It has been confirmed both Thom Yorke and guitarist Jonny Greenwood are currently working on an untitled track with the New York rapper for a new compilation entitled‘Complex’.
The project also includes contributons from Gruff Rhys‘ Neon Neon side project, reports Pitchfork. It is set to be released digitally on a track-by-track basis in the coming weeks until mid-January, when the compilation will be released on picture disc vinyl.
Details about the album, which will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Lex Records, first emerged in March earlier this year with DOOM saying it was likely to feature duets and Thom Yorke would be involved.
The Radiohead frontman previously remixed the rapper’s song ‘Gazzillion Ear’ in 2009. His band released their new remix album ‘TKOL 1234567’ earlier this month.
They are planning to tour their recent album ‘The King Of Limbs’ next year. GuitaristEd O’Brien recently said the band would be performing indoor shows.
He added:We’re finalising dates now, we’ll be on the road from the end of February to November and we’ll be playing in both the UK and US, the usual ports of call.
